it is here by notified that the result of B.Tech S4 (R,S) Exam May 2019 is published. The detailed results are available in the KTU website www.ktu.edu.in.
Students can apply for answer script copy and revaluation, by registering in the KTU web portal from 19.08.2019, Monday to 23.08.2019, Friday. The Fee for answer script copy is Rs.500/- per answer script and for revaluation, Rs. 600/- per answer script. Students should submit their requests through student login and pay the fee at College office on or before 23.08.2019, Friday.

It is hereby notified that the updated result of B.Tech Programme of 2015 admission students incorporating students who became eligible for B.Tech after result declaration of S6 (S) May 2019 exam is published herewith. College-wise list showing register number of students eligible for B.Tech degree is given below

CIRCULAR For Permitting the students to attend S5/S7 till the publication of revaluation results | Year out Students | Minimum Credits

CIRCULAR

students who do not meet minimum credit requirements for promotion to S5 and S7 are granted permission to attend classes till the publication of revaluation results of S1/S2 and S1S4 respectively. Those who fail to attain minimum credits after revaluation will not be permitted to continue their studies in these semesters.The students and their parents are required to submit an undertaking to the Principal to avail this relaxation. Moreover, Colleges are directed not to collect fee from these students until the publication of revaluation results. The attendance of the students who attain minimum credits after revaluation shall be the actual number classes attended by them irrespective of the date of publication of the revaluation results.

A case study on engineering education in kerala | KTU | Media One

The engineering education in Kerala is undergoing dramatic changes. Around fifteen years back only cream students went for engineering studies. At present students are joining the course not for passion to engineering stream but as a matter of prestige and pressure from external environment. The scenario is not different among the faculty community also in terms of quality erosion. The present study aimed to find out the impact of age group, educational qualification, experience, extend of participation of faculty members and impact of career development programs on the quality of teaching. The most popular career development tool utilized by faculty members in the field of engineering is attending Seminars. It may be due to the fact that it is an easy task. The research revels that the majority of faculty members in the Engineering discipline belong to thirty five years and their basic qualification is B.Tech. Apart from that, attending workshops, faculty development program, participating in national and international conference helps a faculty to increase the quality of teaching. It is viewed that there is reluctance from the part faculty members in participating in career development programmes.
